Our goal is to help all the children in our community learn to read, boost their enthusiasm for reading and encourage reading at home. We are asking all the parents of Woodridge to contribute those books at home that your children have outgrown and donate to your school's Book Bug Program. Teachers can send books home to students as rewards, extra help or for their brothers and sisters. Book Bug collection bins are located in the offices of the Primary, Intermediate and Middle School.
T-shirts, shorts, sweatshirts, flannel pants, folders, bags, pens etc can be found for sale at our Open Houses, Community Days at WMS in September and during our Special Order Sale dates throughout the year.
Our Climate Committee tends to lobby decorations, Bulldogs Buds, food drives, Dress Up days, new student boards and interviews, as well as helping assist the Guidance departments with their Host/Hostess & Ambassador Program, Character Certificates, Hero's Program, Wellness Week and Red Ribbon Week. This is a volunteer opportunity perfect for the "behind the scenes" volunteer as well as the most available volunteer. We need your help!
